Interdisciplinary Core Courses (10 credits)

The Interdisciplinary Core is designed to acquaint students with multiple facets of forensic science. It is important for students to understand how different emphases, or specialty areas, can be intertwined during an investigation. Students are not required to complete the overview within their own emphasis. Emphasis Options (11-12 credits)
The Emphasis options (11-12 semester hours) are designed to give students depth in a traditional academic area as it relates to Forensics. Computer Science Information Systems Emphasis (11-12 Credits)
Criminal Justice Emphasis (11-12 Credits)
Psychology Emphasis (11 credits)
Forensic Science Internship/Thesis/Project (6 Credits)
Note
Students in Criminal Justice, Computer Science, and Psychology may choose either a 6 credit Thesis Project OR a 3 credit Internship and a 3 credit Professional Project. Students may also substitute MPA Research Methods for 3 credits as long as they also complete a 3 credit Professional Project or Thesis.
