Recommended for computer science students with an interest in criminal justice and the applied field of computer forensics. This is a SUU composite degree (a minor is not required).

- Core Course Requirements (must take MATH 1210 ) 17 credits
- Knowledge Areas Requirements (must take CJ 1010 and CSIS 1010 ) and approved courses in the Physical and Life Sciences 16 credits
University Requirements
Experiential Education (3 Credits)
CSIS Common Core (36 Credits)
Criminal Justice Core Required (12 Credits)
CS Forensics Core Required (30-31 credits)
Science courses to complete 12 credit hours of science (4 Credits)
Must include one of the sequences: CS Forensic Electives (6 Credits)
- 6 Credit hours of electives in CSIS or Forensic related classes in the college of Science or the Department of Criminal Justice. The COSE advisor must approve course. These electives will need to be upper division to satisfy the required 40 hours of upper division work 6 credits.
Total Credits, B.S. degree: 129

The CSIS Department accepts transfer credits up to 10 years, due to the rapid change of the industry. Anything beyond this will be considered on a case-by-case basis. |
