Program Information
- Students are strongly encouraged to consult their Student Success Advisor before making coursework selections.
- Because of the intensive nature of the Dual-Licensure, additional time may be needed to complete all requirements.

Special Education Courses (15 Credits)
Teacher Candidates must be admitted to the Initial Teacher Education Program to take the following courses. (See Department of Teacher Education .) Teacher candidates can begin the Special Education program in the Fall or Spring semester.
Student Teaching (12 Credits)
Select One of the Following
Total Credits, B.A./B.S. Degree (Elementary Education): 120-165
Complete Elementary Education major, licensure component, and Special Education courses.
Total Credits, B.S. Degree (Secondary Education): 120+ (Varies)
Complete Secondary Education major, licensure component, and Special Education courses (credits vary according to discipline).
