The Construction Technology Certificate prepares graduates for entry level work in the field of construction. Graduates typically work on the job site for a probationary period of time before landing an entry level position performing bidding, estimating and scheduling along with other office type work. The certificate can be used as a stepping stone towards promotions and pay raises for individuals already employed in the construction area. The requirements for the Construction Technology Certificate are integrated into the Construction Technology Associates degree for those interested in pursuing a 2 year Associates degree. The requirements for the 2 year Associates degree in Construction Technology are integrated into the 4 year Bachelor’s of Construction Management degree for those students interested in pursuing a 4 year Bachelors degree. With proper advising, students who complete a 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management can graduate with the Certificate, Associates and Bachelor’s degrees.
