General Studies Requirements
Courses Selected for the General Studies Major (54 credits)
- Complete General Education requirements.
- Complete EDGE Program requirements.
- Complete 54 credits in the approved plan of study (including SGCS 4010 and SGCS 4020 ).
- Students must complete a plan of study and have it approved by the Dean of the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies.
- Complete an approved capstone experience (SGCS 4020 ).
- Complete 40 upper-division credits.
- Bachelor of Arts students must complete 16 credits of foreign language (or proficiency test).
- Earn a total of 120 credits (30 of which must be from SUU; 20 of those 30 must be upper-division).
- Only classes with a “C-” or better will be counted toward the General Studies major.
