This course is designed to provide students with opportunities to develop their skill in the development and application of a therapeutic exercise program for an injured patient. This will include assessing the athlete and designing a program to control pain and inflammation, improve range of motion, muscular characteristics (e.g., endurance, strength, power), neuromuscular control, cardiorespiratory fitness, and perform sport-specific/functional exercise.
