This course is designed to enhance the student’s understanding of therapeutic exercise as it relates to the rehabilitation process of athletic injuries. Topics covered may include but are not limited to controlling pain and inflammation, improving range of motion, muscular characteristics (e.g., endurance, strength, power), neuromuscular control, cardiorespiratory fitness, and performing sport-specific/functional exercise.
