NOTE: As of 7/12/2019, students pursuing this bachelor’s degree are no longer required to complete the Experiential Education Requirement courses for graduation.
Experiential Education Requirement - EDGE (1-3 Credits)
Complete One Track:Original Project Track (3 Credits)
Students create a project of their own design Select Project Track (2 Credits)
Student select a project from the designated list Art Foundation (31 Credits)
Secondary Art Education (20 Credits plus 15 Credits from either the 2-D or the 3-D Focus)
2-D Focus (15 Credits)
Choose 9 credits from the following: OR 3-D Focus (15 Credits)
Secondary Education Licensure (29 credits)
All the following requirements must also be completed for the Secondary Art Education B.F.A. Initial Teacher Education Program Courses
(must be admitted to the Initial Teacher Education Program to take the following) Advanced Teacher Education Program Courses

Secondary Education Licensure
Please see the degree requirements for Secondary Education Licensure . Some classes required for the licensure cannot be taken until the teacher candidate has been admitted to the Teacher Education Department.
