Requirements (33 Credits)

In addition to the minimum requirements, applicants to this program must also submit:

  • Proof of level 2 teaching license or equivalent
  • Proof of three years of full-time paid teaching experience
  • Two letters of reference; one from most recent education supervisor (superintendent or principal)


All courses must be completed prior to taking internships

*Must have department approval to take course

** Serves as M.Ed. Project Course/Finalization of Program

Master of Education candidates seeking state licensure in educational administration must achieve a passing score on the PRAXIS Educational Leadership: Administration and Supervision test (#0411). Candidates must also demonstrate professional competency through submission of a professional portfolio and work sample addressing ISLLC Standards and an exit interview.
