Requirements (33 Credits)

In addition to the minimum requirements, applicants to this program must also submit:

Proof of level 2 teaching license or equivalent
Proof of three years of full-time paid teaching experience
Two letters of reference; one from most recent education supervisor (superintendent or principal)

EDUC 6560 - Leadership of Student Services & Programs 3 credits
EDUC 6080 - Leadership & School Principal 3 credits *
EDUC 6100 - Practices of Instructional Supervision 3 credits *
EDUC 6896 - Adm/Supervisory Elementary Capstone Internship III 3 credits
EDUC 6897 - Adm/Supervisory Secondary Capstone Internship IV 3 credits

Master of Education candidates seeking state licensure in educational administration must achieve a passing score on the PRAXIS Educational Leadership: Administration and Supervision test (#0411). Candidates must also demonstrate professional competency through submission of a professional portfolio and work sample addressing ISLLC Standards and an exit interview.
