Program Information
- All courses must be passed with a “C” (2.0) or better to be counted in the program.
- Students must earn a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 to graduate.
- Graduate courses cannot be repeated more than once.
- Students who enroll directly into the Finance certificate will need to receive permission to enroll in FIN 6100 without the required prerequisites.
Certificate Completion
This certificate program may be completed independently and does not require enrollment in or completion of any degree program to be awarded.

- Learn common valuation approaches as well as the theories used to estimate appropriate discount rates.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of financial statements in order to better evaluate and forecast economic performance.
- Improve students’ skill in developing estimates of future growth and the required cost of capital.
