Program Summary
The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Science program is deeply rooted within the Geosciences and provides students with interdisciplinary knowledge of Earth systems and the skills required to solve contemporary issues related to the natural environment. The Environmental Science program provides a focus on knowledge, skills, and abilities in the physical, biological, and social sciences, while providing the flexibility for students to focus on their interests. The interdisciplinary knowledge that complements a valuable set of skills and analytical/problem solving abilities will allow students to succeed as professional environmental scientists in public and private sectors. The program also provides students a foundation upon which to pursue advanced education in Environmental Science or a closely related field of study.
