Program Learning Outcomes
- Understand the interdisciplinary nature of feminist and gender scholarship.
- Learn major feminist theories, debates, and methodologies.
- Learn to analyze issues pertaining to women and gender issues from multi-cultural, intersectional, and transnational contexts.
- Critically analyze how gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity/cultural background, social class, nationality, and citizenship intersect and create different experiences for different groups of people around the world.
- Recognize the roles and ramifications of human/women agency and activism locally and globally.
- Learn to reflect and interpret everyday lived experiences from feminist and gender perspectives.
