Please note: This degree is only for Southwest Technical College or Uintah Basin Technical College transfer students with 900+ clock hours.

Students from Southwest Tech must have completed one of the following certificates:

  • Production Welder (930 hours)

Students from Uintah Basin Tech must have completed one of the following certificates:

  • Auto Technology (990 hours)
  • Diesel Technician II (900 hours)
  • Welding Advanced Technician (900 hours)

General Technology - Construction Technology Specialty Curriculum (65-68 Credits)


General Education (16-19 Credits)


University Credit Upon Completion (30 Credits)


30 lower-division University credit hours will be awarded upon completion of the above courses in recognition of the required 900+ hours of technical training, per Utah Board of Higher Education Policy R473.
