Film and Screen Studies (Minor)



Program Summary

This minor focuses on the critical study of film, television, and other screen-based storytelling mediums. It teaches students to critically analyze and interpret texts that function in visual and audio modalities. It helps them develop the faculties to apply critical thinking and participate in the discourse of the discipline. It is for students who are interested in a deeper understanding of film, television, and other screen-based mediums.

  • All courses must be passed with a “C-” (1.7) or better to be counted in the minor.
