Ceramics (Minor)

Program Summary

The Minor in Ceramics, offered by the Department of Art and Design, provides students with a range of techniques and skills for the production of ceramic art. Students will be exposed to and research historical and contemporary models of ceramic art. Students will also explore advanced sculptural methods for ceramic art, including hand-built and wheel-thrown techniques.

Program Information

• All courses must be passed with a “C” (2.0) or better to be counted in the minor.
• Transfer students must complete at least 50% of their art credits at SUU.
