Program Summary
The Bachelor of Arts in Art History offers students who love art an analytical and scholarly approach toward the visual. Art History students receive an immersive and comprehensive introduction to Western and Non-Western art traditions’ visual culture and the revolutionary challenges to those traditions that the modern era has created. The art history faculty help students make meaningful connections with the history of art from all cultures and societies so they can graduate prepared to meet the challenges of professional life in art history and pursue a variety of related careers.

- All courses must be passed with a “C” (2.0) or better to be counted in the major.

- Bachelor of Arts Degree - Foreign Language requirement 16 Credits
** Note: One semester of a foreign language may also fulfill the General Education Humanities requirement. The 16 credits may be fulfilled by taking four semesters of a foreign language or by testing out of a language and purchasing the credits.
