GEO 3150 - Energy and the Earth

An introduction to energy resources and their relationship to geologic processes. Emphasis on the diversity of energy sources in the 21st Century, including solar, wind, hydroelectric, fossil fuels, geothermal, and nuclear. A minimum grade of “C” (2.0 or above) must be earned in this course before it can be counted in a Geosciences major or minor or as a prerequisite for any other course.
