This course develops basic aeronautical skills necessary for the student’s first solo flight. Topics covered include airport operations, communications, aircraft start-up and shutdown, hover, taxi, take-off, landing, autorotation, various ground reference maneuvers, emergencies, and aeronautical decision making. There is a lab fee.
