This course is a hands-on course that utilizes the practical application of fundamental project management concepts, behavioral skills, and software (MS Project) needed to successfully launch, lead, and realize benefits from projects in for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Successful project managers skillfully manage their resources, schedules, risks, and scope to produce a desired outcome. In this course, students explore project management with an applied approach through case studies, simulations, and class exercises. Special attention is given to understanding and utilizing project management software in the successful management of projects. (Fall - 2nd Session, Summer - 1st Session) [Graded (Standard Letter)]
