For seniors in the English Teaching major only. This course emphasizes the theories, research, and practice that inform the effective teaching of writing. Students will read, discuss, and write about course readings, teaching observations, and the teaching of writing and develop their own theories of language and teaching to reflect on the pedagogical practices that arise from those theories.
