An introduction to earth sciences, with a focus on the composition and structure of the planet, the processes that shape it, and the natural resources it holds. A minimum grade of “C” (2.0 or above) must be earned in this course before it can be counted in a Geosciences major or minor or as a prerequisite for any other course.
