EDUC 5034 - Strategies for Working with Diverse Learners and Educational Psychology 3 Credit(s)
This course is designed to give student’s knowledge and skills designed to meet the needs of diverse student populations in the general education classroom, including: allowing students multiple ways to demonstrate learning that are sensitive to student diversity; creating an environment using a teaching model that is sensitive to multiple experiences and diversity; designing, adapting, and delivering instruction to address each student’s diverse learning strengths and needs; and incorporating tools of language development and language acquisition into planning, instruction, and intervention for students learning English (ELL/ESL) and supporting the development of English proficiency.
