SUU 3000 - The Mindset of an Engaged Learner

A hybrid (face-to-face and online) course, orienting students with prior post-secondary learning experience to Southern Utah University and reinforcing the concept of engaged learning. This course focuses on the strategies and campus resources that support students’ efforts in learning.

This course alternative to SUU 1000 is designed for students who meet one or more of the following prerequisites:

Transfer Associate’s Degree
General Education Certificate
Active Military Service (1. Completed Boot Camp, 2. Completed 24 months of active service, 3. Honorable discharge or current orders)
National Guard or a Reservist (1. Completed Boot Camp, 2. Completed 48 months of service, 3. Honorable discharge or current orders)
30+ Transfer Post-Secondary Credits
