This course is a foundation course for the strategic communication emphasis. It introduces the concepts, theories, and practices of public relations and advertising to meet a variety of organizational goals. The focus of the course is on organizational issues in public relations and advertising firms and the role of strategic communication in the process of marketing and strategic campaigns.
