SPAN 3300 - Introduction to Literary Studies

This course is an introduction to the study of literature in Spanish. Emphasis will be placed on reading and critical analysis of Hispanic texts in major genres (narrative/prose, poetry, theatre/drama). Students will learn literary terminology while practicing close reading of literary texts, critical analysis, and analytic writing. (Fall, Spring) [Graded]
