Each candidate:

1. Researches, designs, and implements developmentally appropriate and challenging learning experiences in collaboration with families, colleagues, and students.
2. Creates learning experiences that engage and support students as self-directed learners. 
3. Collaborates with students to establish a positive learning climate of openness, respectful interactions, support, and inquiry.
4. Develops professional autonomy and advocates for students, schools, communities, and teaching.
