Program Information

  • Graduate students must complete their program within six (6) years of matriculation.
  • All courses must be passed with a C (2.0) or better to be counted in the program.
  • Students must earn a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 to graduate.

  • Identify historical and stylistic influences in film music, game audio, and interactive media.
  • Apply professional practices and business models relevant to media composition and game audio careers.

  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in digital audio workstations for scoring, sound design, and more.
  • Synchronize music and sound to picture using industry-standard workflows.
  • Implement interactive audio using middleware and game engine environments.
  • Create, edit, and deliver audio assets that meet professional technical specifications for film and games.
