Program Information
- All courses must be passed with a “C-” (1.7) or better to be counted in the minor.
- Credits older than 10 years must be approved by the CSCY Department Chair before being allowed to count towards the minor due to the rapid change in the industry.

- Assess security risks and identify methods to minimize their threat and/or impact.
- Identify appropriate network security tools and technologies to establish and configure a secure computer network.
- Analyze and evaluate emerging cybersecurity risks and solutions with creative, critical thinking, and inquiry.
- Apply security principles and practices to maintain operations in the presence of risks and threats.
