Program Summary
Students who complete the Uncrewed Aircraft Operator Certificate will receive the knowledge and flight training to become competent drone operators. These skills may be applied to multiple, interdisciplinary uses of drones. Additional individual actions by those who complete this certificate are necessary to receive the Part 107 UAS Remote Pilot Certificate offered by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Program Information
- Students must complete all required courses of the certificate with grades of “C” or better.
Certificate Completion
This certificate program must be completed in conjunction with a degree program. The certificate will be awarded at the same time as the degree program and cannot be earned independently of a degree.
