Program Summary
The Art Education Minor program is designed to complement a teaching major within another discipline. Many students take advantage of this minor since it adds an extra dimension to their teaching experience. The Art Education Minor gives students art and art education experiences focusing on art education. In addition, an Art Education Minor gives students expanded teaching opportunities in schools and insight into curriculum integration with the visual arts.
Program Information
- All courses must be passed with a “C” (2.0) or better to be counted in the minor.
- Transfer students must complete at least 50% of their art credits at SUU.
