Program Learning Outcomes
- Present work that demonstrates creative or scholarly originality, perceptual acuity, conceptual understanding, as well as technical facility at a professional entry level in their chosen field(s)
- Acquire the ability to place works of art/design in historical, cultural, stylistic and theoretical/critical contexts, both in relation to the general history of the field and the specific history of their area of specialization.
- Gain general knowledge of the history of art both of the western and non-western cultures in relation to general world history
- Demonstrate competency in research and critical argument, as well as an entry-level professional competency in analytical writing.
