Exercise Science
The Exercise Science degree is designed to provide students with knowledge and training that qualifies them for additional education through graduate studies and prepares them for careers related to the fitness, wellness, and sport industries. Pre-allied health science, pre-physical therapy and physician assistant students may find this a viable undergraduate major. Other careers pertaining to this degree include: personal trainers, health fitness specialists, program directors, and fitness coordinators. Those wishing to teach and coach in the public schools should enroll in the Teaching/Coaching program to ensure proper progress toward obtaining teaching licensure.

B.S. Degree - Math or Science minimum requirement (12 credits)
* Note: Most or all of the B.S. requirements may be met by fulfilling the General Education Core and Knowledge Areas. Because of this, these credits are typically not counted in the degree total at the bottom of page. Transfer students not majoring in a math or science field may need additional math/science courses to reach the minimum 12 credits. Consult a Student Success Advisor for details.

- An additional 31-42 free electives are need to satisfy the 120 credit hour requirement for graduation. Two to four of the elective hours must be upper division to satisfy the 40 upper division credit hours graduation requirement.
