ESL 0929 - Academic Classroom Communication and Culture

This is an advanced ESL course that focuses on communicative tasks and requirements that a student will typically encounter in an American university classroom setting. Emphasis is on listening to lectures/note-taking, preparing and
giving individual and group presentations, and becoming accustomed to the nature of the interaction between students and professors within American university culture. Repeatable up to 8 credits. (Fall, Spring, Summer, As needed.)

Prerequisite: ESL 0928 or instructor permission
