BIOL 4921 - Advanced Biotechnology Workshop 2 Credit(s) | $27 Fee
This workshop-based course explores cutting-edge biotechnology techniques, tools, and applications through examination of current research literature and real-world case studies. Students will engage in active discussion and analysis during weekly sessions. Each session will cover a topic in modern biotechnology, including but not limited to: in vitro diagnostics, pharmaceutical drug development, medical device manufacturing, bioengineering, environmental conservation, and synthetic biology. Each workshop emphasizes critical evaluation of published methodologies, experimental design, and the application of biotechnological innovations in industry and society. (Spring) [Graded Letter]
