SW 6900 - Capstone Portfolio Seminar 1 Credit(s) | $2.50 Fee
The capstone portfolio course allows students to explore their identity as a social worker, demonstrate their understanding of the profession’s core values, and apply knowledge gained across the MSW curriculum, resulting in a final capstone portfolio. The portfolio is designed to evaluate the process by which each student achieved that goal and synthesized their course work and field experience with preparing in each of the 9 CSWE competencies. The portfolio is designed to evaluate the process by which each student achieved that goal and synthesized their coursework and field experience with preparing in each social work competency. The completed capstone portfolio documents the progression of each student through their time in the program up to their final term in preparing to graduate as a competent and prepared advanced generalist social worker. The portfolio will be developed in the final semester of the MSW Program, utilizing artifacts from prior courses. (Fall, Spring) [Pass/Fail]
