This course examines social work practice theories and therapeutic interventions as they apply to working with survivors of trauma. Particular attention will be made to the use of engagement, assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and follow up on the micro, mezzo, and macro levels of practice. Cultural competence and ethical principles will be emphasized when working with survivors of abuse and trauma. (Spring) [Graded Letter]
