MFT 6610 - Marriage and Family Therapy Capstone 2 Credit(s) | $5 Fee
The MFT capstone course is designed to synthesize the knowledge, skills, and clinical experiences acquired throughout the MFT program. Students will integrate multiple theoretical frameworks with clinical practice to develop a personal Theory of Change, demonstrating how they conceptualize and intervene in relational systems. The course emphasizes the practical application of theory to real-world cases, critical reflection on clinical work, and the development of a professional identity as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Students will produce a culminating Theory of Change paper and presentation, demonstrating mastery in both theoretical understanding and clinical application.
