MFT 6300 - Research Methods in MFT

This course introduces students to the foundations of research methods in marriage and family therapy. Emphasis is placed on understanding quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods designs, ethical considerations, and the application of research to clinical practice. Students will learn how to critically evaluate empirical literature, design research studies relevant to systemic therapy, and translate findings into evidence-based practice with couples, families, and individuals.
