This course will introduce the practical and theoretical paradigms involved in the study of human-environment relationships. The course is designed as a gateway course into the interdisciplinary area of sustainability studies. Over the semester, course materials will draw from a range of academic perspectives to provide a conceptual foundation useful for analyzing the variable ways in which humans interact with their lived environments.
