This course provides comprehensive coverage of issues relating to drug use and abuse in our society. Topics include psychopharmacology, common drugs of abuse (e.g. cocaine, nicotine, alcohol, depressants, hallucinogens, over-the-counter and prescription drugs), and the treatment and prevention of substance abuse.
