An introduction to the structure and function of the nervous system. Topics will include cellular neurobiology, how organisms sense and respond to environmental stimuli, and cognitive neuroscience. Three (3) hours of lecture per week. A minimum grade of “C” (2.0) or higher must be earned in this course before it can be counted in the biological sciences major or minor or as a prerequisite for any other biology course.
