This course introduces important concepts and skills necessary to design and build basic scripts and programs. Students will receive an introduction to scripting using Python. Concepts covered include basic string and arithmetic operations in Python, as well as flow control, functions, and file manipulation operations. The basics of Python scripting and developing scripts that could be used for security testing, data analysis, or other routine tasks for an IT professional will be covered in this course.
