GEO 3330 - Igneous-Metamorphic Petrology

An introductory course in the petrology and petrography of igneous and metamorphic rocks emphasizing the observation and interpretation of rock texture, mineralogy, and chemical composition. Three (3) lectures per week. A minimum grade of “C” (2.0 or above) must be earned in this course before it can be counted in a Geosciences major or minor or as a prerequisite for any other course.
