SOC 3530 - Documentary Filmmaking on Social Issues

This course aims to equip students with a diverse set of research, artistic, and technical skills for ethnographic and low-budget documentary filmmaking. Students will learn to strategize for research and effective storytelling, and to film and edit interviews, while completing a short, engaging, socially relevant documentary film in the course.
