MATH 1210 - Calculus I 4 Credit(s)
Functions, limits and continuity; the derivative, differentiation techniques, and applications; graphing applications including extrema and concavity; elementary antiderivative/integration skills; the definite integral and its applications. Coverage includes applying the ideas and techniques of calculus to algebraic, trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions. A graphing calculator is required. Prerequisite(s): (MATH 1050 and MATH 1060 ) or equivalent coursework approved by the Math Department or adequate test score within the last two (2) years - Prerequisite Min. Grade: C Prerequisite Test: ACT Math Subscore or Accuplacer College-Level Math or ALEKS PPL - Prerequisite Test Score: 26 or 100 or 75 Registration Restriction(s): Intensive English Program majors may not enroll
