Application of nutrition principles to the human life cycle: nutrient functions, needs, sources, and alterations during pregnancy; lactation; growth; development; maturation; and aging. A minimum grade of “C” (2.0) or above must be earned in this course before it can be counted in a Human Nutrition major or minor or as a prerequisite for any other nutrition course.
