NFS 1240 - Introduction to Food Preparation 2 Credit(s)
Discussion of the influence of type and proportion of ingredients, manipulation techniques, and methods of preparation to obtain a standard food product. Lab experiences will accompany and support discussion. A minimum grade of “C” (2.0) or above must be earned in this course before it can be counted in a Human Nutrition major or minor or as a prerequisite for any other nutrition course. (Spring) [Graded]
