PILT 2050 - Aviation Meteorology 3 Credit(s)
A study of atmospheric conditions and their effects on aeronautical operations. Topics covered include basic meteorological principles and physics, atmospheric properties, patterns of weather development, and associated aviation hazards including thunderstorms, wind shear, turbulence, and icing. Limitations, interpretation, and use of aviation weather equipment used in aviation activity are presented.
