This course investigates the biopsychosocial factors which contribute to health and illness. Issues within the fields of medical psychology and behavioral medicine are discussed. Topics may include health-behaviors, stress, pain and illness, seeking and adhering to medical advice, nutrition and mental health, chronic illness, death and dying, and behaviors associated with specific types of illness and disease.
